Maria got her start in art and drawing from childhood with the use of many How to Draw books, and has a deep desire to create, whatever form the medium may be. She took programs in 2D Animation at Max the Mutt Animation School and 3D Game Art & Design at Centennial College, working in Toronto for various companies and freelancing for about a decade before going back to college.

Feeling the need for a new direction, she entered and graduated from Durham College’s Food & Farming program with honours in 2019; expanding her skillset, inspiring her, and giving her a different medium from which she continues to create. Currently, she continues to follow her passion for plants, freelancing when she can, as well as exploring the world of custom-painted apparel.
